Ricardo's at Jamison Plaza is a popular place for coffee and breakfast/lunch. They have a separate vegan menu, as well as a couple of vegan dessert options on display at the counter. We went at breakfast time and ordered the big breakfast, granola and raw snickers bar. The servings were quite generous, so we left feeling very satisfied. The raw snickers bar was probably big enough for four people. The granola came with fresh fruit and some dollops of what seemed like a vegan lemon butter. Very nice indeed.
Hi, the Vegan raw snickers bar looks delicious. How did it compare to Sweet Bones' treats? Is it worth the trip out by bike from civic? Ben John Grady Private I Marketing Canberra
Ben, we think the snickers was supplied by Rainbow Nourishments, and are also carried at Kith & Nosh, Braddon. The R.N. sweets are not as super sweet as some, which is not a bad thing. You seem to get a lot for your $. And they are gluten-free, which is a plus for many. Bike trip may be worth if you combine with something else, e.g. Jamison Trash & Treasure Markets.
